All you need are five basic cooking skills to come up with a great answer to the most important question of the day, “What’s for dinner?” With these five cooking skills, you can easily save time and money by using what you have on hand to prepare meals that will make your taste buds dance a jig.
This session, Skill 2: Pan-Searing, will help you create restaurant-quality meals in record time that won’t break the bank. Next to knife skills, your next best friend in the kitchen is pan-searing, which uses high heat to quickly cook the surface of food, forming a browned crust.
