The William H. Rumsey Aquatics Center is named for the late William H. Rumsey, former Director of the DC Department of Parks and Recreation and co-founder of DPR's Black History Invitational Swim Meet (BHISM).  

Located in the Eastern Market, this indoor aquatics center offers an eight (8) lane, 20-yard x 25-yard pool, a kiddie wading pool, and community room.
