About Us

William Chris Vineyards is a family owned winery and vineyard operation nestled on the edge of Hye, Texas in the Hill Country. We believe a dedication to grape farming creates a foundation for distinct quality and style. In addition to William Chris Vineyards, Bill and Chris own and operate a vineyard management business which oversees 40+ acres in the Hill Country and High Plains of Texas. Our wines are made from fruit grown in vineyards that we manage and from the fruit of personal friends with similar commitments to winegrowing. Bill and Chris strive to capture each vineyard's terroir. William Chris Vineyards is very much about sharing an appreciation of the natural world we live in. We believe it is important to know not only where our grapes come from, but also what goes into our wine. Our use of 100% Texas grapes, minimal sulfites, and minimum handling are important elements in the creation of our wines. From the vineyard, to the winery, to the bottle, we are committed to creating our wines in a way which brings people closer together. We are pleased to share a piece of our world.
