The Rappahannock Railroad Museum is dedicated to the preservation of historical railroad equipment in the greater Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg area.  We provide education to the public in regard to Railroads, railroad lines and related events in our area. The museum keeps its equipment at 11700 Main Street in the Spotslyvania County Business Park just off of US Route 2/17 south of Fredericksburg. Map to the Museum's Equipment Visitors are welcome to tour our museum on Saturdays from 9AM to 12 Noon. From Mid march through October (and other Saturdays weather permitting), our visitors are welcomed aboard our maintenance of way train (Little Yellow Train) for a short rail excursion to learn and experience how the rail workers in the mid 1900's commmuted to their work site. All train rides are subject to crew availability, weather, commercial rail activity, and other factors beyond our control.
