Nate's Point Dog Off-Leash Area

2245 San Diego Avenue
San Diego, CA 92110

619-235-1122

The Nate's Point Dog Off-Leash Area is located on the West Mesa of Balboa Park, immediately south of El Prado / Laurel Street and east of Balboa Drive. The off-leash area is approximately 2.3 acres in size, and has been used as a dog park since 1996. This off-leash park is one of the most popular dog parks in the San Diego region, and is used every day of the year. Thanks to local support of our improvement plan, the park is completely fenced, and amenities include drinking fountain, picnic tables, and double-entry gate.
