Mildred E. Grierson Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary

Todd Road, 100 yards east of Mount Holly Road

The five acre pond in the Mildred E. Grierson Memorial Wildlife Sanctury can be observed from Todd Road where there is a foot path entrance. These spring fed ponds and wetlands are a haven for migratory water fowl and other bird life. They are also populated with fish, reptiles, and turtles. Beyond the ponds the trail leads up a steep hill to 13 acres of hard wood forests and a stone wall which marks the boundary of the Marion Yarrow Preserve. Trail is .5 miles

Level: Beginning level; a steep switchback up ot the Yarrow Preserve can be slippery

Directions: The sanctury entrance is on Todd Road, 100 yards east of Mount Holly Road. Park on the roadside. Can be accessed from the orange trail of the Yarrow Preserve.
