Lakewood Ranch Branch YMCA

In 2003, due to a generous donation of property by Schroeder Manatee the Lakewood Ranch Branch Y was built. The branch provides membership and programming for Lakewood Ranch residents and its surrounding communities in east Bradenton. The branch went through a major expansion in 2011. The expansion consisted of a new fitness center, arts studio, cycling room, teen center, youth center, aerobic studio, child care room (Kid Zone), meeting room and offices. In addition renovations were made to the existing lobby and front desk area.
