Kelly's Country Club is situated in a beautiful location west of Norfolk. It is named for Kelly's Steakhouse which stood for years on the site.
Most of the layout is cut from tall ash and cottonwoods north of the Elkhorn River. A tributary full of catfish, bass and bluegill cuts through the tract and comes into play on five holes.
The woods harbor deer, turkey, and pheasants. Beaver, geese, ducks, hawks and a few eagles have graced the course as well.
The 7th hole is the most scenic. Its tee is recessed into the woods. From the tee, you overlook a pond to a two tiered green engulfed in cottonwoods.
The 8th green may be the largest in the state at 46 yards long and 26 yards wide.
Kelly's Country Club is a fun layout.
