The 1st Certified organic brewery in Illinois!

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the first certified organic brewery in the state of illinois!

the 1,200 square-foot space next to our wrigleyville location features a seven-barrel brewhouse along

with serving tanks that feed directly into uncommon ground's tap system. it doesn't get any fresher than that!

CRAFT BEER & SUSTAINABILITY

breweries nationwide are engaging in active sustainability programs,

and we are ecstatic to pave the way for chicago's organic craft beer scene.

we believe the best results stem from the best possible ingredients,

which is why we are committed to using 100% organic malted barley and hops.

we also donate our spent grain to a local farmer who incorporates it into his chickens' feed!

implementing water conservation practices, composting, and monitoring energy consumption are also important

in "closing the loop" wherever and whenever possible.

we are committed to achieving the smallest footprint without jeopardizing our high standards for flavor and quality.
