About Us:
Glencoe Museum and Gallery is operated by the Radford Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to preserving and promoting Radford's rich heritage.
Glencoe Museum and Gallery provides an intimate glimpse of the history and culture of Radford and the New River Valley. The house museum gives an intimate view of the Victorian way of life during the post-Civil War years. History exhibits introduce visitors to more than four hundred years of documented history of Radford. The art gallery that features the works of local artists of all different types of media. The site also features an authentic late-19th century school house.
Glencoe Museum is a member of Round the Mountain, the Wilderness Road Heritage Route, and the New River Heritage Coalition.
In addition to operating Glencoe Museum, the Radford Heritage Foundation is actively planning to restore Arnheim, the house of Dr. John Blair Radford, for whom the city is named.
