Our Mission:
The Collinsville Historical Musuem strives to inspire public awareness and appreciation of the persons, places, businesses, churches, artifacts and heritage that have contributed to the Collinsville area's evolving history. We preserve and interpret Collinsville's historical record through active collecting, displaying, researching and exhibiting. An understanding of the history can provide the community with a connection to the past while brining a sense of belonging to the present and reponsibility to the future.
We strive to bridge the divide between Collinsville's rich early history, or important recent history and our ever-changing present. Our goal is to preserve our shared heritage for future generations. Knowledgable staff are always available to answer questions. The Museum is free to the public at regularly scheduled times and is additionally available by appointment.
