The Augusta Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of our town and our state.  The Augusta Historical Society maintains and is responsible for the restoration of the Augusta Historical Museum located in Historic Downtown Augusta, Kansas.

The Augusta Historical Museum in Historic Downtown Augusta, Kansas offers rotating exhibits covering time eras from the  pre-1800s  throughout the 1950s.  The museum is owned and operated by the Augusta Historical Society.  Take a relaxing journey into the Native Flowers of Kansas in our Native Flower Garden.  Take a journey back in time to Augusta's yesteryears every time you enter our museum and historical log cabin.
