The Armenian Museum will feature the following major programs:

History of the Armenian People

Rotating Exhibits of Armenian Art

Permanent Exhibits, featuring Artifacts, Textiles, and Fine Art.

Educational Programs, featuring a Library, Research Center, and a Children's Gallery

Biennial Festival of a notable Armenian or Armenian-American Artist/Musician/Writer

Presentations of Lectures, Performances, Music, and Movies

The Armenian Museum plans to:

Serve as a West Coast repository and information center featuring the art, culture, and history of the Armenian people.

Serve as a valuable resource for the community at large. The Museum will provide cultural and historical information to Future generations of Armenian-Americans.

Provide an awareness and appreciation of the Armenian culture and contributions of the Armenian people through planned exhibits and diverse educational programs.

Maintain an active program for the collection, conservation, and documentation of Armenian artifacts, textiles, archival information, and works of art.

Provide a forum for the visual and performing arts, to include music, literature, and fine arts of the Armenian people.

Develop a cooperative partnership with universities and museums throughout the United States as well as with the country of Armenia. The partnerships will include student internship programs, artists-in-residence programs, research opportunities, lectures and discussion groups.

Feature the history and contribution of the Armenian people of the Central Valley.
