Volunteer to Advocate for Older Kentuckians

Advocacy volunteers will head to Frankfort on Thursday, Feb. 20, for AARP Kentucky’s annual Lobby Day in the Capitol. During one-on-one meetings with lawmakers, volunteers will discuss AARP Kentucky’s legislative priorities and share personal stories.

The 30-day legislative session begins Tuesday, Jan. 7. AARP Kentucky will be advocating on a variety of issues, including equitable housing, support for family caregivers and retirement security. To learn more about becoming an advocacy volunteer, visit aarp.org/ky.
