Those wishing to take part in the conversation at AARP Wyoming offices in Cheyenne are welcome to do so by coming to the third floor of the First Tier Bank Building in Cheyenne, located at 1800 Carey Avenue. This is open to the public and there is no need to be age 50 or an AARP Wyoming member to attend.
Neiman, the current Majority Floor Leader from Hulett, will discuss the recent election and what the Freedom Caucus majority may mean for the House of Representatives. Neiman has also recently announced his intention to run for the Speaker of The House and will tell us the importance of that position and his hopes for the 2025 Legislative Session.
The webinar will be the latest AARP Wyoming Government Relations Team (GRT) meeting. Members of the GRT volunteer to follow bills of AARP member interest throughout the year, meeting weekly (in session) or monthly (during the interim) to discuss policy and offer feedback for AARP Wyoming staff on various issues. The meetings take place in person in Cheyenne and are available to those outside the Capitol City through Zoom. To be included on the GRT’s email list, simply contact Tom Lacock at tlacock@aarp.org.
