Dementia Friendly Homes: A Room-by-Room Guide (Dec. 12 @ 12 p.m. | Virtual)
In this program, Carrie, aka Dementia Darling, is an educator and advocate for the dementia community and for caregivers. In this session, she will guide caregivers through the steps of creating a positive and safe home environment for loved ones with dementia. Online Movie Screening: ‘Thelma’ (Dec. 13 – Dec. 15 | Virtual)
Join us to watch an online movie screening of Thelma, a comedy starring June Squibb, Richard Roundtree and Fred Hechinger. When 93-year-old Thelma Post gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, she sets out on a treacherous quest across Los Angeles to reclaim what was taken from her. While we don’t recommend Thelma’s tactics, we do encourage you to learn how you can protect yourself and loved ones from frauds and scams. Register HERE.
