Outdoor Winter Activities with Loon Echo Land Trust and AARP Maine
Looking to get outside this winter and try something new? AARP Maine and Loon Echo Land Trust invite you to join us at our winter activities this January and February. We will be hosting a Nordic skiing lesson, a snowshoe lesson and a walk. Beginners are welcome as well as those with experience, and equipment will be available to borrow as well. Registration is required for the events in order for us to get a head count and reserve equipment for you. If you have questions, please email AARP Maine at me@aarp.org. Events are subject to weather as well: if we do not have snow we will have to cancel.
Snowshoeing Adventure: This event will introduce participants to snowshoeing in Maine! In this session you will learn about the equipment needed, how to use the equipment and have an opportunity to go out as group with Loon Echo Land Trust volunteers. Beginners welcome as well as those with experience. Registration is required for this event. (LINK forthcoming)
