Finance Workshops Set for July, August, September

AARP Virgin Islands and the Government Employees’ Retirement System are teaming up to offer financial planning workshops to government employees, retirees and others.

Upcoming sessions are on Wednesdays July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in both St. Croix (the UVI Research and Technology Park) and St. Thomas (the Department of Planning and Natural Resources). Speakers will be shown remotely at both venues.

Workshops will continue through November. Topics include deciding when to retire, executing efficient tax strategies, managing important legal documents and handling money for teens and young adults.
