Caregiver Support
Department of Social and Health Service – Caregiver Support (360-725-2300)
Provides information about resources and services for family caregivers, including training, support groups, respite care and a registry of trained respite providers.
Finances
Department of Financial Institution— Financial Education
Maintains a list of county resources and agencies for low-income housing, financial assistance and counseling.
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (360-725-2857)
Helps eligible households with home energy expenses, which may include heating and cooling bill payment, crisis bill payment and/or heating and cooling equipment repair and replacement.
Washington Connection
Offers a fast and easy way for families and individuals to apply for a variety of services such as food, cash, childcare, long-term care, and Medicare savings programs. People age 65 or older, blind or disabled may also apply for medical assistance.

Provides information and investigates allegations of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults.

Provides free legal help to low-income residents in cases affecting housing, family safety, income security, access to health care, education and more.

Resources for families and people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors
Free service of the Office of the Insurance Commissioner assists people of all ages and backgrounds with their Medicare questions and options. Call the Insurance Consumer Hotline at 800-562-6900 and ask to be connected with your local SHIBA.

Online marketplace helps Washington residents find, compare and enroll in health plans such as Washington Apple Health (Medicaid), Cascade Care and Cascade Care Savings.
