AARP Rhode Island volunteer advocates are fighting for a host of priorities at the State House this year.

The agenda includes affordable and accessible housing, support for family caregivers, improvements to long-term care, lower-cost prescriptions and new retirement savings options for small-business workers who don’t have access to employer-based plans.

For updates on AARP’s legislative efforts, read “Netto’s Notes,” written by Matt Netto, advocacy and outreach director, at aarp.org/RINotes.
