AARP Ohio Commissions New Report to Address Racial, Economic Disparities of Black Ohioans 50-Plus

Posted on 05/17/24

AARP Ohio has commissioned Case Western Reserve University to research racial and economic disparities of Black Ohioans 50-plus. The report, which will be released in August, will identify gaps between the financial well-being of Ohio's older Black residents and their white counterparts, identify equitable solutions, and shape AARP Ohio legislative advocacy efforts.

Addressing inequality can improve economic growth, make our communities more livable, lower the cost of health care and create jobs.
