Cryptocurrency ATMs (aka crypto kiosks) are everywhere, and have become a rising tool for criminal scammers. AARP North Dakota is urging lawmakers to take action this legislative session. North Dakota House Bill 1447, sponsored by Fargo Rep. Steve Swiontek (R-10), will create important consumer protections to save older North Dakotans from having their life savings stolen by criminals.

Help us make positive change for North Dakotans 50 and older — join our Advocacy Team! The A-Team is a diverse group of volunteers playing a key role in our mission to lead positive social change. As a member of the A-Team you might:
- Visit elected officials to discuss legislation
- Write letters to the editor
- Track and take action curing state legislative sessions
- Educate other AARP members on key issues
- Participate in monthly calls and regular face-to-face meetings to stay informed about AARP-led state and federal advocacy efforts
