St. Kateri’s Run with the Son for Haiti 5K Run/Walk

About the Event

This event is a family-oriented 5K run/walk through a friendly neighborhood in Yorktown, Virginia.  It features pickup food and drinks before and after the race, live music performed by the Tabb HS Jazz Band, and lots of give-aways, raffles, and a silent auction.  All proceeds go directly to educating Haitian children in Boucan Carre, Haiti.  Last year the race monies provided over 200 students with school tuition, uniforms, books, a daily vitamin and a hot meal for the entire school year.  

Event Schedule:

7:15 a.m. Race day check-in and Registration

8:30 a.m. Race start

Awards:

Top 3 overall Men and Women runners

Top 3 in 16 age groups through 80+and above run finishers

Top 3 Men and Women walk finishers
