About the Event

During the Winter Carnival Committee's Theme Selection Meeting held in APR 2024, a decision was made for the 2025 Winter Carnival Theme.  As always, there were so many great ideas put on the table, but the final decision was made democratically, by all members of the committee.  After narrowing the field of possible themes, the winner was a theme that wasn't new to being on the theme list, but it looks like 2025 will be its year - Music Legends!  Join us in celebrating all the brilliance of Winter through parades, sports events, fireworks, family gatherings and many other festivities including of course Our Winter Carnival Ice Palace!

Schedule Of Events

10am - 5pm - History Hut and Gift Shop at Ice Palace

10am - 5pm - Winter Carnival Button Making at 89 Church St. Saranc Lake, 12983

12am - 12am - Clue Hunt at Starting location- mailbox posted outside of the History Hut and Gift Shop at the Boat Launch

12pm - 2pm - Film Screening: Crazy Heart at Saranac Lake Free Library Cantwell Community Room

2pm - 4pm - Film Screening: A Mighty Wind at Saranac Lake Free Library Cantwell Community Room

4pm - 6pm - Film Screening: This Is Spinal Tap at Saranac Lake Free Library Cantwell Community Room

5pm - 6pm - Winter Carnival Grand Marshall Reception at Hotel Saranac

6pm - 9pm - Winter Carnival Royalty Dinner and Grand Marshall Dinner at Hotel Saranac

5:30pm - 7:30pm - 3rd Annual Winter Carnival Fashion Show at The Garagery (Back of Dorsey Street Parking Lot under Grizle T’s)

6pm - 7pm - Evening Yoga (Free) at Saranac Lake Free Library Cantwell Community Room
