Become entranced by the beauty of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her dazzling Court, enchanted by the swirling snowflakes and breathtaking snow, and cheer for the tiny toy soldiers and their leader, the handsome Nutcracker Prince. A sparkling production with beautiful costumes and sets, this is truly….'the all-time family favorite.

We join Judge Silberhaus and his family at their annual Christmas party. It is a warm and friendly event where guests waltz in silk gowns and elegant tuxedos while the children are dressed in jewel-tone satin dresses with lace-edged pantaloons, and the boys are proud in their velvet knickers. Our Nutcracker Prince is an instant favorite, especially to Clara, the Judge's daughter.

She is even more smitten with him when he fixes her Nutcracker doll, a gift from her mysterious Uncle Drosselmeyer which was broken in a fit of envy by her little brother, Franz. When she falls asleep that night, she dreams of a fierce battle between an army of toy soldiers and huge wicked rats. The Nutcracker battles the Mouse King and is saved at the very last moment by Clara, who fails him with her shoe. To thank her for saving his life, he takes her on a wonderful journey.
