7:00 a.m - 10:00 a.m: Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Stone Church Adults $10, kids (1-10), $5.00. Tickets available in advance @Rec/atdoor
10:00 a.m: "Wild West" Parade Newport Health Center to High School (Free hot cocoa at staging area) register at Rec 603.863.1332
10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Drop-In Bandana Making at the Library Arts Center. Families and Adults.
11:00 a.m: Chamber Mac-n-Cheese Cook-off $10 to taste/judge. Register in advance
11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Horse drawn wagon rides around the gorgeous Common
11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Karaoke with DJ Traci Fulton. Bandstand
11:45 a.m: Hot Sauce Challenge and Food Eating Contest, Common (Patten’s Rig Stage)
11:30 a.m: Golden nuggets Kids Gold Rush Common (by statue), bring your bucket
11:30 a.m - 1:00 p.m: SRVRTC Forestry and Natural Resources forestry challenges and demo
12:00 p.m: Heino Axe Man Challenge, Common, prizes. Open to the public, 603.454.5105
12:30 p.m - 1:30 p.m: Line Dancing and Western Ballroom Dancing demonstrations. Common (Pattens Rig Stage)
Noonish: CrazyGames...Stick horse races, pig calling contest, tug-o-war, hula-hoop, musical bails, wife carry barrel racing. Common
12:15 p.m: Yellowstone Rip and Beth look-alike contest. (Patten’s Rig Stage) Ribbons.
12:30 p.m: Pony Up Plunge, (bring your suit and towel) Special Olympics fundraiser
1:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: Wild West Beer Fest at Salt Hill Pub outdoor pavilion, 11 Central St, Searching for cowboys and cowgirls.
2:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: Greek Cafe at Saint Vasilios Church, 45 Winter St Pastries, baklava, sundaes, coffee, teas, cocoa.
2:00 p.m: Frozen Open one club, one ball, memories galore. Get your team of 4 together and meet at Newport Golf Club
6:00 p.m: Rec vs. Fire, police Basketball Game Wheeler Gym
8:00 p.m - Midnight: Connipition Fits rock band at Newport Opera House. 21+, cash bar. Dress "Western" for prizes.
