Lunar New Year Festival

About the Event

This Asian-inspired festival pays tribute to the culture and New Year traditions of Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other countries that follow the lunar calendar. It features a special Lunar New Year Drone and Light Show on the largest screen in the world, a lighted parade, cultural craft activities, live entertainment, and other cultural elements.

Event Schedule

4:00 pm – 9:00 pm Attractions: Dinosaur Explore, Dinotorium, Mini-golf, 4-D theater

4:15 pm – 7:30 pm Live performances, cultural arts, games, and craft activities, live entertainment, roaming streetmosphere

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Club K-Pop inside the Skyhike Complex

7:45 pm Expanded parade through Crossroads

8:00 pm – 8:30 pm Live entertainment on Memorial Lawn stage

8:30 pm Lunar New Year Drone Show, Light Show, and fireworks finale

Lunar New Year Drone & Light Show

End each evening with a festive Drone Show featuring a fleet of color-changing drones creating amazing aerial formations synced to music, then watch the massive Lunar New Year Light Show projecting images on the mountain along with immersive lights, lasers, and special effects, followed by a fireworks finale.
