Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Virginia’s premier holiday celebration, WinterFest!​

Kings Dominion transforms into a winter wonderland with millions of shimmering lights, breathtaking décor, and lavish displays. The Eiffel Tower will become a 300-foot-tall Christmas tree, and the iconic fountain on International Street will become one of the most beautiful and largest ice-skating rinks around.​

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join Snoopy and the Kings Dominion Holiday Singers to kickoff our our Tree Lighting Ceremony on the International Street Bandstand.

Lights & Sights

Enter WinterFest and be transported to a whole new world as you experience warm displays of soft, ambient holiday lights. Chill out in the ice and snow or take a walk down Candy Cane Lane. Gather around to watch brilliant lights dance to festive holiday music or take a trip back to heart-warming holidays of yesteryear with traditional sights, sounds and experiences.
