Lowell Observatory is open with regular programming and special festival programming, such as face painting, tours, and special talks.

1pm - 3pm: “The Most Human” - Adam Nimoy

KNAU Science Reporter Melissa Sevigny will host a discussion with Adam Nimoy in Lowell Observatory’s new Astronomy Discovery Center about his most recent book, “The Most Human,” which delves into his complex relationship with his iconic father, Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek. Nimoy will sign books after this program for guests.

3pm - 5pm: For the Love of Spock Documentary - Introduced by Adam Nimoy

Enjoy a one-time showing at the brand new Lowell Universe Theater, For the Love of Spock is a 2016 American documentary film about actor Leonard Nimoy directed by his son Adam Nimoy. Enjoy a very special introduction by Adam Nimoy himself!
