About the Event

Folkways invites you to celebrate the holiday season at Christkindlmarkt. Join us for two weekends of festive cheer in the Outdoor Winter Wonderland, Gift Market, and Bier Hall with Drekker Brewing Company. With food, live musical performances, art demonstrations, holiday treats, and activities for the kids, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Schedule:

12:00 - 1:30pm: Tucker’d Out
Acoustic folk trio

2:00 - 3:30: Loop In Color
Live - looping one - man band, performing pop and dance music

3:00 - 3:30: Oak Grove Carolers
Classic caroling

4:00 - 6:00: Javi & The Brambled Hearts
Upbeat country cover band

6:00 - 6:30: Group Swing Dance Lesson
Head to the dance floor for a quick lesson with Lindy of the North to get ready for this evening’s headliner

6:30 - 9:00: Poitin
Unique blend of Irish, Celtic, French - Canadian, and Metis traditional dance music and ballads.  Poitin is a six - piece band featuring fiddle, banjos, guitars, mandolins, Irish bouzouki, bodhran, harmonica, bass and drums.

7:30 - 8:00: Live Fire Spinning

Roaming Characters:
Throughout the weekend you’ll see visitors like the Elf on a Shelf, Mrs. Claus, a living Christmas Tree, ballerinas from The Nutcracker, stilt walkers, and more!
