We invite caregivers (and anyone else in need of time to recharge) to spend time tapping into their creative side by joining us for a paint and sip class.
About the Event
In acknowledgment of family caregivers, an important resource when it comes to helping loved ones age in place, AARP New Hampshire is sponsoring a virtual Paint and Sip class hosted by Paint and Sip VT. Anyone else in need of a break is welcome to join, too!
Grab your favorite beverage and follow step-by-step guidance as you try your hand at painting “Holiday Birds.” AARP will also provide a brief presentation about available caregiving resources.
Supplies needed:
- A canvas, canvas board or acrylic paper (9"x 12" or 11" x 14" recommended but any size works)
- Easel (optional)
- Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, white and black; green is optional (we will also blend it in class)
- 3-5 brushes, from large to fine-detail sizes
- Pencil for composition sketching
- A cup of water to rinse brushes
- Small plate to mix colors
- Paper towels
