Over the centuries -- even before we were a country -- American folk music has expressed the feelings of the people, the causes we believe in and those aspects of life that the “folk” are invested in. It is a musical snapshot of our history. In this presentation on music of American folk, award-winning musician Barry Wiesenfeld delves into the evolution of the genre, as well as its styles and facets.
Wiesenfeld will demonstrate the importance that music can have in keeping your brain healthy.
